TM Glock 17 magazines - ReFill problem
Hi all,
i have bhought a TM Glock 17 recently and the gun is working very well but i experienced some trouble with the mags (TM too). There is no leaking when they are filled, but when i fill the mags, it's impossible to make a clean "sealed" refill, gas is going out everywhere. It's like the gas adaptater doesn't fit with the inlet valve. Wich is very classy when you are using propane gas It seems the valve is too little...i have try every angle possible...plastic adaptater, metal adaptater, green gas bottle. Same thing with all of this. So i was wondering if it's a known issue about the Glock 17 TM mags? Or only the two i have bhought...and if you have a solution or recommandation. Thanks guys! Theres usually a nice little rubber oring that sits in there, from your picture it doesn't look like you have one :P

Most TM mags are like that, very messy fill. Can be solved with an O ring, like Armen said.

Yes, TM mags are suposted to make the loud hissing noise when you fill them. AS long as its not leaking after your done filling the mags are normal.
I would not recommend using those little rubber o rings, i used one in one of my mags and never again! sure it made them quite when they are filled, but the problem was that it made the mag a hell of a lot harder to fill up. |

As said above, TM do not fill like KSC, they spray a little when you fill them. This is by design.

If it doesn't leak when filled, then that o-ring is fine, even if it appears worn to you. Don't worry about it.
As already mentioned, TM fill valves WILL emit gas while filling - again, this is by design and on purpose. |

Same thing surprised my when I filled my HiCapa's mags
It was very messy, to the point where it was slightly dripping liquid propane (god damns this thing is cold on your hands!) Once filled it hold it tight; The dripping is actually a feature for you not to get too hot in the summer :P |

So I understand this is by design, but is there anyway I can pop a small oring down that hole to fix it? It seems to leak a lot more than if TM was to do this "on purpose"

That o-ring is for sealing the mag at the valve on the inside....not for preventing fill spillage.
