Selector Switch for Madbull Metal Body

Hello,

Recently acquired a Madbull JP Rifles Metal Body (The less expensive one). Everything turned out great with the installation minus some minor modifications to get the front end kit to line up except three things:

- Selector Switch: It doesn't definitively lock at semi, safe, or full-auto.
- No Trigger Guard: Body didn't come with one.
- No bolt cover & dust cover.

Basically, looking for a new selector switch that is compatible with Madbull bodies so the selector switch isn't just rolling around freely. As for the trigger guard, basically just wondering which companies make trigger guards that are compatible with Madbull metal bodies. Same with the bolt and dust cover; something that is compatible.

Thanks.

afaik, selector switches and trigger guards for AEGs are usually all compatible with everything else.
if you want the switch to lock/click into place, you need one with the (stupidly small) ball bearing, or plastic "spear point" thingamabobber.
if you can live with a slight gap between the trigger guard and the tabs, just buy anything and hope for the best, though those f**king roll pins are a pain. the best part is if you hammer too hard, the tabs on the receiver will snap off. patience and many, many _gentle_ taps are essential here.

as for bolt/dust cover, it's kind of a crapshoot regardless. charging handles are pretty universal, but depending on the fitment between gearbox-to-upper, the plate can be a pain. if you want a KA-type locking deal, then good luck with that cause that's a whole different headache.

AFAIK, Madbull bodies should be TM compatible. If that's the case you could try this: http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...roducts_id=446

I bought that to replace a lot of broken parts on my metal body (could be a Dboys body)

I got the Madbull MUR. The KA selector works fine for it (not ambi of course). The KA dust cover is too short/small for the upper. Still trying to find a dust cover that will work. The KA ambi mag catch is loose and I am trying to find a way to make it work since I have seen it used before on this body.

If you find any more info post up I would be like to know what you find and get working as well.

Update - Just found this:

This websites states only CA dust cover will fit - only reference to dust cover to be used on this upper that I have seen.

Dust cover hinge mod:

KA Mag catch works fine with the mech box installed and spring just made a little longer.

MadBull charging handle works no issues.

I'm using the Magpul trigger guard.

Got all my accessories from Airsoftparts.ca.
