King arm M4
Hi everyone , I have bought a King arm M4 , its my first AEG and I think i got a problem , either the gun or me.
When it comes to put the magazine in the gun , i have the one that comes with the rifle and I bought 5 additionnal one (120round made by KA) , the magasine does not seem to stay in there unless i push the release button then put the mags and then repush the other side of the button to lock in there but it still move a little. I don't want to break anything so I have looked around but coulnd find a answer. thanks M.D |

Do just like the real thing. Slap the underside of the mag once inserted to ensure it's seated properly.

As much as I push on the mags it won't hold in there.

Give it a good smack upwards and get back to us.

Well I think i got the problem , the release button may need some lube cause it get stuck when i put it good it seems the mag hold better (still moving a little bit is that normal ) , the mags arent loaded yet could this be a problem?

The magazine will move a bit in the gun thats normal, are you having mis feeding or is the mag falling out?

The mags should seat regardless of whether they are loaded.
I have the same gun and I noticed the mag release kinda sucks.. What I noticed is if you look at the button itself, there is a screw in it that holds it onto the main release lever. If you take it apart and put the button on one way, it will bind up and stuff, but if you flip it around and put it back on, it will work perfectly. I just put a little mark on the side of mine so I know which way to put it on when I am reassembling the gun. I guess the hole is just a little off center or something.. |

Shaking is normal, it will move a bit, you can put some loop velcro tape on the inside to minimize shaking

Great thanks a lot for the help guys! I will do the trick for the release button( I figured that when i push to release i have to push it back before putting the mag , il try what XZVIR suggested).
Thanks |

No problem. One more suggestion though, next time you start a thread try to think up a more descriptive thread title. :P

I actually fixed alot of the King arms M4. One of the reasons why the magazine doesnt lock with the magazine catch is because the wires are in the way. Use a flat head screw driver and push the wires to the side between the mechbox and upper receiver.

I had the same problem with the same gun. My solution was i took a flat head and pryed the mag catch rectangular whole on the mag upwards a bit so it will overlap and BAM!! that vag is tight... I mean mag XD
