The "Canadian Police Tactical Teams" Thread

I just stumbled on that pic, and I figured it could be cool to have a thread to assemble all LEO Tactical Teams pics.

Feel free to contribute with whatever you have. Please, whenever possible, say what year the pic was taken, and what city/police departement it was.

Winnipeg - 2011

(I'll add more)

Can't help but love the fact the first photo posted is of Winnipeg Police's Tactical Support Team!

Curious though, wouldn't this be better suited in the SWAT/Police thread?

My brother is on it.

Heard some pretty crazy stories about the complex's they train at.

Especially surprised to hear they use UMP .40s

Odd on the Kingston one. The super tacticool gun is an HK416. Didn't know they used those.

I watched a raid going down in Rideau Heights a couple of years ago, and best I could tell, they were using C8s. Didn't get a close-up look, but the carbines had the rubber buttpad, standard foregrip and TRIAD rail.

Best I can tell, those are C8s with a heavy 14.5 inch barrel and TRIAD for Toronto.

Last I saw in the back of a Kingston tactical team vehicle they had G36Ks. But I've also seen some with glocks and some with sigs so i'm not sure they have an exact standard.

I've also seen 'em with oldschool m5a3s at Pearson. Metal lowers, not the newer plastic ones, with a lighted front end.

hhhmmm, it might be. I will remove it if it is. It looks too clean, so you are probably right.

Nope, Rookie Blue. Looks like filming for Season 3 down near Metro Hall- You can see all the main characters. Also note the giant boom mic.
