ex paintballer starting to airsoft Help
Hello everyone =] I used to paintball with a AGD longbow with a ghillie suit but now im selling all that gear and spending the money on airsoft!
So the G&G mp5 A4 max has cought my eye because i simply just love mp5's but is it a good gun? my playstyle for airsoft will be alot more active and frontline i hope atleast.. unlike my style for paintball sitting in the bush waiting or sneaking.. so i would like a small gun xD and i must have a catus hobbies xD are they legal to use on feilds in the lowermain land? and whats the limit for FPS on feilds here? Thanks guys sorry if i sound like an idiot lmao |

all aegs are essentially have the same working functions such as all have a set of planetary gears that move a piston in a cylinder powered by a motor to create air propulsion to fire the bbs. Quality wise is the same as paintball you can go cheap with your regular AEG (TM, KA, G&P, VFC etc.) or go for the ultimate set up such as PTW/PTW5
it all depend how deep your pocket is. As far as MP5 I use a PTW5 which by far is the best MP5 out there but the cost is prohibitive for new players (around $3K after all the extra mags, batteries, cylinders) or you could settle for a Classic Army with a bit of mods much like a tiippman A5 with mods. ultimately it is all up to you how much you want to spend. remember buy cheap buy twice and the term you get what you pay for has never been so real when it comes to airsoft. The g&g MAX series essentially is the same gearbox with an overpowered spring internally. From what ive read they are prone to breakage because the parts cant handle the crazy spring. Also, G&G's plastic is a nice polymer, if youre looking at G&G specifically dont be afraid of their plastic guns.
Also, the fps limit in ottawa at least is 400fps with .20gram bbs. |

Yes you can, but i would suggest getting a gun doc to do it.
Also, if or when you get AVd you can get alot more info on this and some of your other options. |

for that amount you can get a very decent AEG and accesories to start, get age verified and you can get access to the classified or you can get a King Arms M4 variant with some batteries and mags or Classic army MP5 with some accesories

I have a VFC KAC PDW that comes with two inner barrels and two outer barrels which means it can be longer for outside games and shorter for CQB. The stock folds to the side like the real steel. It's the same thing as an M4 but can be the lenght of an MP5, m4 mags, M4 ergonomics.

Hop ups are built in the guns.
They are the device that gives backspin to the bbs so they hang longer in the air, giving the gun range and accuracy. |
