Best option to chrono FPS

Hi everyone,

I just ordered the NPAS kit for my GBBR and looking for options to where I can get it chrono'd as I'm tweaking it. Are most game hosts okay with it if new players come to check out/observe the game and get their equip chrono'd/tweaked?

Thanks in advance,
esca

If you bought your GBBR from Toronto Airsoft, you can go chrono it at their shop.

If you own a GBBR you MUST have a chrono as FPS will change with the temperature and you have to adjust your GBBR throughout the day with temperature variation. As exemple if it is 10 deg C early in the morning and 25 deg C in PM you can have a big increase of FPS like 20 or 30% more.

Yes, since you already took the plunge to expensive GBBR world, spend 100$ more and buy a chrono
I actually bought a chrono after just my 2nd gun..

Your best (and only) option to chrono your gun is with a chronograph. Either buy one or find someone who has one you can use.

Thanks guys. I'll look into getting a chrono. I knew my GBBR would fluctuate across seasons, but didn't think it would change that much even during game day.

Thanks,
esca

You also need to chrono with the ammo weight you will be using, then convert to joules.
GBBR's shoot harder on heavier ammo than they do on lighter ammo.
And for the record, 10 degrees can be anywhere from a 60-100fps fluctuation, that's why the NPAS is important.

Yea, last game we were at a guy had his WE m4 with him. Chronied in the morning, it was shooting around 380. Chronied in around noon again, he was shooting 420. NPAS adjustment key is a must have for games.

Thanks guys! Picked one up from turok_t while I was at Toronto Airsoft. Hopefully my AV status will show up soon as well once Frank processes it.
