Ares T21 Average FPS Out of Box
Hello! I was just wondering if anybody knows how fast this gun actually shoots straight out of box on 0.2g BB's. Ive seen on many sites so many different speeds ranging from 300 to 380.
Thanks for the info guys. |

"bb bukakke" KING!

if it's a canadian site, it's been upgraded to canadian standards for import. If it's an asian site, their laws for muzzle energy are lower than canada, thus the lower fps. Guns imported in the states are at their original manufactured fps.

Thanks for the info! That helps a lot to get a general idea.

Mine shot 340ish out of the box, however it was probably due to the terrible seal from the stock nozzle. I think the nozzle is the main culprit for the varying reported FPSs

That or you can change the nozzle. The stock one is o-ringless, but its compatible with an M4 type

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

always fix compression issues before upgrading your spring.
a 470fps gun with poor compression won't shoot as well as a 350fps gun with excellent compression |

it also has a quick change spring. so swaping the spring takes about 30 seconds.

I need the new spring to import it unless because it is on the approved list it doesn't need to be over 366 fps. When it gets to me ill swap it back and then look into the upgrades for it.

Hey there my ares tar 21 came out of the box shooting something ridiculous up in the 440+ range. It lasted less then 5000 rounds and xtreme tactics in Winnipeg mb warranted the damage. I forget now what they put in but before wear in it was shooting at a very consistent 360-370 fps.

You could try sticking to 1 thread with your questions about this. You've already posted in the other "Import Experiences" thread on this subject.

People are so anal these days. I was simply explaining to other posters here. The question there is simply about whether or not a gun on that list still needs to be above 366. Here I was just curious to what people have experienced out of box fps with this gun. Lighten up, don't need to be so uptight

Read that other thread, all is there.
But no, chances are they won't test the gun, they will just look-up the refence (in that case ARES' website) and see if it is made to shoot above 366. If it is, it will just go on it's way. |
