Madbull XM108HP Cherry ball-bearings

I'm having a maddening time trying to put the ball bearings back into the spring loaded 'cap' thing that plugs into the gas chamber. Any advice? They just fall out when I try to screw the top back on.

Put a little grease in the holes, it'll hold the bearings in and lubricate the action.

I put the shell head upside-down in my lap (braced between my knees firmly); put the gas valve in; grease the holes (as described); put the bearings in; put the spring and plunger on; use a bic pen to push it all together (push the bearing in); put the shell on the body of the pen and slide it to the threads and while holding everything down with the pen screw it together... it's now primed and ready for BBs and gas.
You may want to have a towel or something to catch exploded components if you accidentally let go of the pen...
I'm not saying this is the easiest way, but this is the way I do all my 203's.

The grease worked like a charm. Thanks everyone!

EDIT. Have another issue now. I reassemble it the way Voorhees mentioned, but it doesn't hold gas. When I fill it, all the gas comes out through the BB holes and when I open it up again, two of the bearings have fallen out of the valve into the lower half where the spring/plunger sit.

Any ideas?
