will a 3.8 hi capa mag fit the other sized hi capas?
Hey everyone. just wondering if the baby hi capa magazines will fit a 5.1 hi capa or if there is any difference at all in the magwells between the 3.8, 4.3, and 5.1 hi capas?

3.8 mags are shorter, they will not fit any other model. 4.3 and 5.1 are interchangeable, and both will fit in a hi-capa 3.8, but they are longer than 3.8 mags and will extend out of the magwell.

In other words. No.
Not unless you put a baby hicapa grip on another hi capa. |

Sweet. what about removing the baseplate?

Do you mean remove the baseplate from a baby hicapa mag and use it in the full size? Well unfortunately there are tabs at the bottom of the mag that the baseplate slide over. These tabs would still prevent the mags going into the larger grips.
Only way to get them in would be to grind the tabs down, but that would permanently alter the mags. Also they are a bit shorter than the grips of the other guns so inserting the mags would be awkward and clunky. I give you an A for effort and creativity. |

3.8 mag is shorter than 4.3 / 5.1 , so it is not fit.
