Sig 556 shooting a bit hot

got a cybergun sig 556, i have a 6.03mm inner barrel, dual oring piston head or cylinder head(whatever) and a new cylinder to fit the new piston head and m120 spring. im shoot 435fps, annnd most people dont allow over 400.

any suggestions? friends are scared of my gun afraid to get hurt, and i also dont want to hurt them. (unless the backstab me ) gotta be something simple.

Downgrade your spring! Pretty much the cheapest solution, but it may be slightly challenging depending on how good you are with internals. Lots of tutorials and stuff on youtube on how to change a spring. An M110 might put you just under 400 fps, go with an M100 if you want just to be safe

Yep... to downgrade your FPS you downgrade your spring.

An m110 should get you sub 400 fps which is the common limit for outdoor games.
An m90 should bring you sub 350 fps which is the common limit for CQB.

Someone is going to say it so I might as well be the guy.
Don't forget, limits are limits not goals. FPS has much less effect on range and accuracy than good air seal and hop.

yea i realized, i didnt even want it shooting that high, i wanted it to be 390-400 and turns out to be 435. was like woah there hold on. so an m110 will 100% bring me to 400fps or less? i need to be sure so im not doing this twice. also i have a gun doc whos very good that does the work on my gun for me. this is my outdoor gun i have another gun for cqb. so i would rather it around 390-400fps nothing greater or less.

An m110 isn't 100% guaranteed to bring you under 400, but it's a good 95%. Especially if you're shooting 435 with a m120.
It's only a $15 spring, plus whatever the gun doc charges, so while it's annoying to have to do it again, it's not like you're dumping tons of money into your gun in a long shot attempt to make it work.

If you want to be 100%, go with an M90. You've already upgraded your barrel and piston, so you'll probably still get a good effective range outdoor with an M90.

Maybe check with the gun doc that installed your upgrades to see what he recommends.

Why don't you just tell your gun doc you want it shooting sub 400 and let him figure it out.

just an FYI 380-385 seems to be the sweet spot for accuracy.
