VSR-10 stock problem
(Edit: the problem isn't in the stock)
Hi guys, sorry if I sound like an idiot, but I can't get my VSR-10 barrel/bolt/trigger assembly back into my stock! I'm completely stumped because I've done this about 60 thousand times and helped people do it when they have problems. I'll post some pictures, but basically: The rear end of the barrel, where the bolt is, fits in fine as usual, but the metal box on the barrel underneath the hop-up is 2-3 cm too far forward so it's keeping me from pushing the barrel down into the gun. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Might be a stupid question but is the barrel screwed in tight to the receiver? That's all I can think of that would cause it to sit THAT far forward..

It doesn't seem like it'll go on any tighter, but I can give it a try... I don't want to over tighten it though.

No, once it shoulders out it's tight. Plus you have to back it off to fit that screw in the bottom anyway.
Are you sure the barrel mounting block is on properly as well? |

I unscrewed the outer barrel and wiped off the grease and was able to put it on tighter. Problem solved.
