Securing a a belt of dummy rounds to the A&K M249

Hey guys, just a quick question. Wondering if anyone has found a good way to attach a belt of 5.56 dummy rounds to the m249 series?
I have an A&K Mk46 and just got a set of ten 5.56 links, but cant seem to find a good way to get them mounted in to the feed tray without duct tape or something

Thanks!

it doesnt have the two lil tabs that stick up in the feed tra when you open the top cover?
those lil tabs are what is spose to hold the rounds in
if you dont have those tabs the id say some tape duct or otherwise would be your best bet aside from apoxy or something more permanent.

Safety wire one of the links under the feed cover to the feed tray.

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't know the part with the two "teeth" was hinged separately from the feed tray cover, as every time i opened the cover up it went up with the cover. Who knew. Now if only the G&P set of links i got came with one extra round it would work perfectly! One round too short to get one shell past the two teeth and one into the MAG nutsack. Arg

For future referance, 12 to 13 rounds is probably optimum for the A&K, having two rounds beyond the feed tray "teeth" and one going into the nutsack pouch. The G&P dummy set comes with only 10.

I don't know what the feed tray looks like off hand, but maybe a ziptie if there's somewhere to feed one through that won't cause a malfunction.

I used fishing wire on mine back in time, was holding nicely.
