Puxing 777 issue
Hey ASC, so i have my friends Puxing 777 and here is the issue he came to me with. When we were setting up comms for a game he did a radio check with a fellow teammate. Upon doing so all the teammate was receiving was what sounded like a open mike(no voice). Everything was set properly ie channels etc and was verified by myself. Now he is using a TRI COMTAC II so i removed that and used the radio by itself, same thing. Now here is the interesting part.......I get home and throw my Element Bowman and PTT on it and BAM! transmits just fine!
So WTF is the issue?!?!?!? Im no expert with radios and electronics but i would wager a guess that the internal mic system is either damaged or defective however, that doesn't explain why my Bowman will transmit and not the built in mic or my buddies COMTAC. Well have at her guys, i appreciate any insight or suggestions. Thanks

Sounds like the radio is damaged and possibly the headset too. You did basic troubleshooting and that what it's telling you.
Did he just buy the radio? Can he return it? |

If i remember correctly he bought the radio and headset from Airsoftdepot (mabye a month ago?). I did some more testing this morning and tried his COMTAC and PTT on my radio it works fine as well so again most likely the radio. I will get him to consider taking the radio back to Airsoftdepot.
