Smith Optics LOPRO vs ESS
Hey everyone,
I currently own a pair of ESS goggles with fan but I find they are hard to fit under my helmet. I have been eyeing the Smith LOPROs but I'm not sure that they are any smaller. Can anyone comment on whether or not the smiths are smaller? What's the ventilation like on the LOPROs? |

I would say that the ESS NVG's are lower profile than those.
I like Smith Optics GLASSES, but their Boogie regulators might as well be underwater for me. Fog issues out the ass. I do like the look of the LowPros, and that regulator system with the proper side venting would probably alleviate all of my fog issues found in the Boogie regulators. The only issue I have is the price. I can pick up two pairs of LNIB ESS NVGs with spare lens at a local surplus store for the cost of one LowPro... |

the vents along the frame of the LOPROs are huge and covered in foam... great for dust and sand, would do shit all in stopping a BB.
