PP19 - To buy or not to buy

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the PP19.
I really want to get my hands on the replica but a friend who knows somebody who owns the replica says there are some issues with the mags.

He told me the mags could only hold around 60 bb's instead of 160bb's and the mag has to be perfectly in place or else it won't feed.

Should I listen to the warning and just buy a G&G UMG/UMP or should I get the PP19?

I never had any of those problems. Also the most solid aeg I've ever handled.

So you would recommend it?

I've never had issues with the mags in mine, and like the others it's a solid weapon.
However be aware it's difficult to carry the mags they are very bulky and require either some specialized pouches or some RPK pouches.
That could be a deciding factor as well, UMP mags are way easier to carry around.

I was planning to buy 6 of these pouches.
They should fit.
And your mags hold 160 rds?
The only thing that scared me off was the loose fire selector (in one of the youtube video's), and the feeding problems my friend told me about.

But if you don't experience those problems my mind is set.

EDIT:

Would this batt eventually fit, or is it too long?

I use these in mine wired to deans http://www.airsoftstore.ca/index.php...roducts_id=338
But if you want to use nimh, 8.4 ak stick was what I used. Also the gun performs much better on 0.25 bbs.

loose fire selector can happen on any ak you just need to tighten it down some

Love the look, but...

they have to be, by far the most cumbersome mags around... I would think
