New sidearm? Kjw m92fs?kp08?kp05?we px4?
I'm looking for a new sidearm to replace my old KP07. Now I really want to stick with KJW as they are Mostly TM compatiable so parts are easy to get. I'm looking at the high cap 1911 designs due to the fact well I like 1911's, Does anyone out there on ASC own either of these guns? And would you recommend them to others? I'm also looking at the WE PX4 and The KJW M92FS any feedback is welcome.

hows abou glocks? light, simple, and cheap
I iknow that the WE PX4 loses its double action over time. KJWs I cant say anything about. I havent ever played with one long enough to know |

I've used glocks but for some reason they never really grew on me if you get my drift.

My team has probably a dozen KJW P226s between us... no issues with any of them.
I would suggest getting the TM mag of whatever gun you get (if possible), as the TM mags are way less prone to leakage than their KJW counterparts.

Are the TM mags still made out of metal? or are they plastic like the rest of their guns?

To date, with the exception of WE lightweight G17 magazine, every one of them are made of metal (Zinc alloy)

I own a KJW Les Baer Custom 1911 (basically the MEU). I love it. Had a P226 before, i loved that. I think if you go KJW or TM, you can't really go wrong.

Cheers to all for the info. Most likely gonna go for the KP08 once my MEU is sold. One question to all the 1911 guys will the sliver MEU Mags (KJW) Work in the Reg 1911A1? without issue? Was just thinking of keeping my MEU for parts and the mags and just buying another 1911. I like the look of the A1 model.

MEU mags should fit fine in the A1 frame and vise versa.
The only difference between the two is the base plate. |
