KWA has much better quality control, however WE has much more part availability in Canada.
WE has stepped their game up this past year so that's something to consider.

If you are looking for an all in one platform I would suggest the MSK, however if you are looking to do primarily CQB the Vector is a better choice.

The msk is a first generation flop. Do not buy it.

The vector, if you get the new gen is a reliable platform but you loose out on the point of having a GBBR, also its a cqb weapon.

If you are all about assault/dmr, why not get a m4 or a scar? You can modify both to make them loom close to the masada style look. Check out the scar vltor casv rail. You can get repros that fit.

TL; DR the msk is garbage currently, the vector is to limiting for your play style.

The Vector is cool, but it's very heavy. WE is a good place to start, but the MSK is getting mixed reviews.

What about the WE M14, VFC 417, or a SCAR 17?

They're all great platforms to base a DMR build but function well in an assault role as well.

WE MSK is nice but has mixed reviews as said before, if you don't mind working out the kinks and don't have any qualms about teching on a GBBR to get it up and running reliably then it's not bad. Can get the DMR barrel kit for it as well.

Though... didn't you have a vector at some point?

Oh in that case, why not just swap out the barrel for a longer one on the Scar-L, add an extended rail, a 1-4x optic (maybe a 45degree rds) and run with that? Though if you want a new gun, then between the vector and the MSK, I'd go w/ the MSK based on the fact you already have mags for it.

Here's a pic of what you can do to a SCAR-L, its my friend's TM recoil shock SCAR-L, not a GBBR, but gives you an idea. He doesn't run it as a DMR but its got as much range and accuracy as any upgraded sniper/dmr platform out there.

I don't think either of us are suggesting you get an AEG SCAR, we're just showing you what's possible. I run GHK AK's almost exclusively so I understand the appeal of GBBR's.

The rail on my friend's SCAR is real steel, and I believe Zack's SCAR is a GBBR as well. Most extended rails work with GBBR's or AEG's so that's not the issue. Like I said, all you'd really need is a longer outer and inner barrel, an extended rail, optic, and you can have change your WE SCAR GBBR to a nice looking DMR styled WE SCAR GBBR.

Or you can do this to your scar.

There's literally tons of mods you can do to your existing rifle. Why spend the money on buying a new gun and getting the basics when you can mod your existing rifle into something really cool?

Also, pfff AEG's. Go GBBR all the way.

And also Zack, NOOOOO stop spreading your hybrid terror!

The vector is super front heavy, and takes a lot of getting used to. I've owned 2, the first one I got fed up of the awkwardness (reloading is tricky) traded it, then I got the itch and traded for a 2nd one and almost immediately traded it away again lol also mags for it are stupid expensive.

Never used the MSK, but I've owned a few WE GBBRs and I gotta say, getting parts is easy, an NPAS makes it both indoor and outdoor ready and parts are cheap and easily available.

My .02
