Was I swindled by the seller？

I did sent a Paypal transaction to a used airsoft gun seller who posted a thread in classfied. That person joined the ASC at 2013 but have no trade feedback and only posted 3 threads yesterday.
After I sent him the money, I didn't got any replies from him anymore.
Anyone experienced this kind of thing before？ Was I swindled by that seller？

You sent him money yesterday and he hasnt logged in... Since yesterday. Cool your jets dude, you got plenty of time to file a paypal dispute if he doesnt send you anything.

As it stands, if I where the seller (pretty easy to figure that one out) I would leave you terrible feedback for being the most impatient buyer ever.

but the paypal transaction can not be dispute. I also sent an email to him and never got reply. i sent the massage to him to confirm whether he got the transaction at the same time as i sent the transaction.

We need more information.

• When did you make the payment?
• Has he/she been very active on the boards but just not replying to your PMs?
• Did you pay with a credit card via Paypal?
• Were you thorough in your payment notes in Paypal?

From time to time, emergencies and other priorities arise. I try to ship items out next business day or at least generate the shipping label so it forces me to have to package the items and slap the label on it, but things come up and I can't make the post office that day. Airsoft isn't a #1 priority for everyone.

If it has been over a week without communications, I would begin to worry.

Why can't the transaction be disputed?

So you sent it as a gift? Why even use paypal then?

The paypal can only dispute the payment for goods but not the transaction to friends. He only has totally 3 threads on the forum and nothing else.

I sent him the money at 7.45 pm yesterday and it was 5.45 in alberta where he located. i sent him a email for confirmation but he never replied me whether he has recieved the money. the status of the thansaction is accepted.

Don't send money as gift if it is not a gift.
