Is there any use for an auto ejecting mag?
Most people want to retain their mags. And even when you don't, it's not hard at all to eject the mag manually, on your own terms. The only reason I can think of, is to alert you that you're out of ammo vs just a jam. But your bolt catch should tell you when you're out of ammo. |

All I see from this system is lost mags. Not saying its not cool, just not overly practical.

If it doesn't make a loud *Pring* noise when it ejects I'll be disappointed

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Lol, likely not the greatest for airsoft but in some situations it may be practical in saving fractions of a second, not 100% sure but most comps seem to require mag retention, and in the field mag retention is kind of important, perhaps if you are in a fixed location it may be semi use full but again only fractions of a second faster for those who practice.
edit: I could also see these being an issue when you are prone, they would pop out a bit and hit the ground and you'll have to manually remove the mag anyhow.

Seems silly to have a system with all these extra, easy ways to eject a magazine and then include a feature that automatically ejects it for you?
I know redundancy is key but I mean not on this. |

AR-15 Garand? I'd love the iconic "ping" sound, but agreed, nobody likes lost mags. Neat, but cons outweigh the pros to me.

The first is the ambidextrous control system that can be used with standard off the shelf Pmag's, etc. If "you want" the auto eject system, then you buy proprietary mags. The choice is up to the operator. |
