ATTN: User LINDDD/Tiger Tactical
I'm in quite a quandry. I've never had to call an ASC user out before, but I'm assuming my PMs to them have not gotten through or they simply have not been read and/or deleted.
The user in question is "LINDDD". We know he/them/her better as Tiger Tactical. The transaction in question is a straight trade, gun for gear. My KSC Glock 17 for three custom Tiger Tactical gear items: a custom mag panel, a medical pouch, and an armour carrier. The chronology of events is as follows: 07-08-05: LINDDD PMs me about a possible gear trade for my G17. Details were agreed upon and info was exchanged. 07-12-05: I shipped my G17 via Xpresspost. The deal was that they would start making the gear as soon as they received it. No communication was made from either side in the interim. 07-27-05: They reply to my PM earlier the same day asking if they've received it, and they have. At this point they quote me an ETA of two weeks. No communication was made from either side in the interim. 08-31-05: I again PM for an ETA check. I am quoted the next day with "will be done soon". That is the last communcation reply I have had. 10-19-05, 10-27-05: I PM them again for an ETA check. As of this posting they have not replied. A cross-check of PM times and their account "last online" time has proven that they were online to see all three 'New PM' windows. The PMs are still unread - that is, unconfirmed reading. This is not meant to be a "OMG, I got screwed in a deal" post. It's been almost four months since the deal began. I simply want to know what is going on at Tiger Tactical as my multiple PM attempts to communicate with them have failed.

I traded an M11 for some gear.

Given their "sponsored" team doesn't have their gear either, I'm not sure how long it could take for you to get your stuff.
While I'm sure everything will get figured out....people should not offer goods for trade they don't have. If the understanding was the goods were to be manufactured it should have been clearly stated when they would be avaliable and that time line adhered to. Priority first to complete the deal.

Took me two months to get my first order from them.
Patience guys. It's not uncommon for custom-fab guys to take upwards of a year to make kit. I'm going on a month for my second order, although I do expect this one a bit sooner. I'd rather they take their time, and make top-notch stuff, then rush it and create Guarder equivalents. Best bet, give'em a call: 1-403-938-0774

Yes he's very apprently very busy with a military contract right now and i've been told they will be finishing off private orders starting Nov or so.
Have you also tried calling? He does have a fully published phone number.

While the Military contract obviously pays the bills and should take priority, these side deals should not be happening if Dave can not get the goods out in a timely fashion. The lack of communication is also an issue.
Again, while I have little doubt TT will come through they should not spread themselves so thin. It ends up looking bad for them. While some custom fab guys do take up to a year...I'm pretty sure that no deals would have been done had the person trading their AEG/GBB known it could take so long.

It's quite easy to accept a few orders, accept a few more, and suddenly, you're back-logged for quite a few months.
Call them up, although, at this point, I'd expect it to be in the lines.

I placed an order with them to make me a custom 3 slot MP5 mag mag pouch early summer, and I was initially told it should be sent within two weeks, at which point I sent another e-mail to check on the day they quoted, was told another two weeks, then after those two weeks they said by the end of the week. Basically it took about 5-6 weeks for me to finally get it. The week before I got it, I got my bud Apoc to call Dave up (he knows him decently) and he was told they were just finishing up a large order of sniper drag bags for DND. Mentioned this to Dave via e-mail, that he should have told me about that and I would have gladly waited as their contract was for "our boys" and he thought he did. Anyways, e-mail is best I found to communicate with them, every time I e-mailed them I got a reply within hours. Be patient, and best of luck!

Looking for form T-whatev

I've made one purchase of gear from another gear maker that was making gear for me (custom holster). He was quite upfront with me that it would take a while (a month or two) as he was backed up with 5 or 6 orders already (he has a day job too). Knowing this I had no problem with placing my order. It also helped that I didn't have to pay until the order was done. I'd mention his name but this thread isn't about him, it's about Tiger Tactical and I don't want people confusing him for TT.

I have ordered a custom cadpat vest and cadpat sling from them, I got both within 2-3 weeks. Calling him or email works best. I have sent emails at 11 PM EST time and got emails back in hours.

Updated the situation in another thread, made the long distance phone call today (midday, via my cell none the less!) They've just finished a part of the large military contract for our own CF. They produced 90 out of 200 drag bags for the new sniper rifles our forces just received. They will finish up custom orders now, and return to producing the rest of the drag bags roughly end of december. Be aware, you may be in for a long wait if you place an order right now.
Their phone number's changed as well: (403) 770-1632
