? best aeg g36c
Looking for a new aeg g36c. I already have the jg g36c. But now I want to upgrade. In everyone's opinion what would be the best you could buy on the market today.

Just curious for my own knowledge, how's the g&g one fair? Their polymer bodies are usually pretty good..

? best aeg g36c
My Marui G36C Custom with blow back having said that, I've only had the JG and the TM so I have a jaded opinion since they are almost polar opposites.

I personally like the trademarked Ares that were for sale about 2 years ago (the ones with a metal sticker hiding the nice trades). The more realistic disassembly and ability to accept the WE IDZ kit make them a nice option IMO.

The order in which I rank g36 aegs:
classic army has issues you can deal with older jg with tm style hop, abs though tm made of abs old velocity arms clear ones because they are 100% compatible... I'm guessing they were jg, abs old ares because you can put in a tm gearbox setup, nylon body WE aeg version cause it's an ares body with a standard v3. kwa nylon body the newer jgs with proprietary magwell and hop cyma super tight magwell might be nylon, might be abs g&g has issues with almost all mags src has issues with everything the idz kit can be put on any one of them, it just requires a bit of sanding at the hinge, and a little boring out of the pin holes.

KWA ones are pretty good. Had mine for 5 years now (bought it used, my first ever gun) and its been great. Basically my 'get up and go' gun. Have always used it with a 7.4v lipo without any issues.
Nylon body is one of the better ones. The trades say 'KG36C' though in case that bothers you.

what about the umarex licensed ones? And, slightly off topic, who are they oem'ed by?

The early Umarex ones were by KWA. I think the newer ones are by Ares (?)

I have one of the KWA Umarex traded ones. Great gun. Amazing ROF. The hardest part is finding mag pouches that hold the mags firmly but don't catch on the protrusions that lock the mags together.

The one I bought 4 years ago is OEM'ed by S&T. The externals are holding up quite well. I upgraded it with some basic air seal parts, mosfet, and 7.4V lipo, and it's been my workhorse for the past 4 years.

SRC is no good huh? I picked up an SRC G36E2 GEN3 about a month ago, I googled it beforehand and didn't find any bad reviews and the only downside is the odd tooth gears.
