Hello all: Couple questions about wire.

Should I use 16 or 18 AWG

This description ok to use...it's tinted copper wire? Silver wiring is way way way more expensive but it must be done it must be done.

BNTECHGO 16 Gauge Silicone Wire
Super Flexible 252 Strands of 0.08 mm tinted copper wire - highly efficient.
Total 10 feet: 5ft Black and 5ft Red.(1 feet = 0.305m)
High Temperature Resistant Silicone Wire
Temp: -60 degree Celsius +200 degree Celsius
Rated Voltage: 600V

Should I be ok to go with this? I will be running 7.4 and 11.1 lipos

2nd question. 1 gun equal 10' of wire..(5 red/5 black)? Should I get 30' total for 3 guns? 15' of red - 15' of black.

What are you wiring that requires 10 FEET of wiring?

I can easily get away with 2 feet per colour per gun depending if it's front or rear wired. And that's with rewiring the gearbox. Try to measure the length of the gun you're going to run the wire and add an inch or two for error, accounting for wiring in the gearbox..

Get copper it has very similar resistance to silver. Not worth the cost imo. It won't hurt your lipo or your motor the more important thing is to upgrade the piston and get good air seal.

Minor point but do not buy the wiring until you know the maximum width you're comfortable running through your gearbox. In my experience some of the crappier gearboxes barely have enough room for the fatter wires and will balloon when you try to close the gearbox.

Choose the largest wire you can fit in there. More conductor = less resistance.
Literal silver wire is not something used outside of super high end electronics or scientific experiments.
The term "silver wire" when thrown around in airsoft refers to silver PLATED copper wire. It just offers better resistance to corrosion, it does NOT give you better conductivity.
The GRADE of copper will drastically affect the performance of the wire, and it just so happens that wire that is silver plated tends to be higher quality.

And use teflon jacket wire for the gun; the insulation is more durable and thinner, usually allowing you to fit a size or two larger gauge.
Silicone insulation should be used as a flexible lead for the battery; it's easier to handle and far more flexible. However, it's very soft compared to teflon jacket and can be torn easily.
