M14 bottom rail mod? possible?
Did anyone try to mod the stock of the M14 to fit a front bottom rail?
A piece like this: http://www.wgcshop.com/WGC_Shop/images/gd_acc_trs11.jpg So, it will somewhat look like this if I put my flashlight, my vert. grip, and my harris bipod: http://www.springfield-armory.com/images/SOCOMIIb.jpg So far, I only got the KA M14 RAS installed on my M14, but I figured it be useful to install a bottom rail as well, but I might need to mod the M14 stock. I was wondering if the stock will crack unexpectly if I use a dremel to drill two holes on the stock so I can install the bottom rail. Give me feedbacks, thanks. |
