Classic Army or ICS AK47?

I'm looking at purchasing my first AEG within the next 3 weeks and i'm stuck between two guns, both the same type of guns but different manufacturers. I've heard a few horror stories about the CA version of this particular gun, and am looking more towards the ICS version but I don't know much about ICS at all, and have never known anyone to own an ICS product from my knowledge. Which would be a better purchase in general when taking in to consideration the sturdyness, and less likely to jam/break or malfunction. The ICS AK74M or the Classic Army AK? I have read a few reviews and the ICS seems like the way. Please and thanks for any input.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you that Legion uses an ICS and loves it. Both companies make excellent guns. Since this is your first AEG I don't think you need to worry too much. You will get different oppinions from different users. But at the end of the day both AEGs are probably going to be about the same in terms of your criteria. Classic Army used to have some issues, but have come along way in resolving them. I don't think you can go wrong with either. If something does malfunction, it would probably be pretty minor and easy to fix. I personally like the ICS model. But, just pick the gun that you find more appealing and treat it well.

There is a really good review in the review section by Mcguyver a complete wiz in AEG internals. Mcguyver has both the ICS and CA Aks and he completely vouches for the ICS ak guns. Go here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=24890 and have a look for yourself.

I personally have an ICS m4a1 and the CA m4a1 both guns are awesome.

Both nice AEG's, i know where CA AK's instock so it will be interesting to see how they test out. As for the ICS AK's we havent any problems with them. But both are new to the market. The onyl tried test and true AK on the market is "TM"

I have an ICS AK74 and love it. It is relatively accurate, affordable, realistic, full metal, comes with metal bushings, and i can go on and on. I haven't had a single misfeed/jamming problem yet. The only bad thing that i've heard is that a few people in the UK had their hop ups have malfunction, but that appears to be an issolated incidence.

Both I hear are good guns. It all depends what you want to do with it. Both shoot about the same, the barrels are close to the same also. It all comes down to aesthetics.

no need. I 100% stripped my ICS and I gotta say, its gears are top notch, metal bushings. One of the nicer looking gearboxes i have seen.

I'd say go with the classic army, it looks more authentic than the ICS, I know some people will probably argue with me on that but...whatever. As for the ICS performance, I can't comment on that because I've never fired one yet. Although my CA SLR105A1 fires very, very smoothly. Much better than my old 552. But its your decision.

Nah...the ICS AK74 is garbage. Go with a Well M16 springer man. Soo much better. Get it upgraded with a PDI 190% so you can use red gas!

Yes...a springer running on gaz and the ICS AK-74M is not garbage, even if its not realy the correct name, since the M is the folding stock version. It should be N, because of the solid stock and side mount.
