-No batteries are included with AEG's unless its a package.
-Its a magazine, not a clip, look up the difference, some people get really mad when you mix them up.
-Most guns come with a lowcap, so look up the capacity of a FAMAS lowcap on any of the airsoft sites, most lowcaps are 50-70 rounds.

If you want to start airsoft its best to go to a meet/game and talk with the players, even if you dont play talking with people who are in the know (I'm kinda just starting too, first season) will get you far more information than reading online.

*waits for someone to display that annoying 'clip and magazine' picture*

Check www.007airsoft.com for some info on the stuff. Ken puts up a lot of information for the stuff he sells, so it's quite useful just to go there to read stuff too.

Before buying a gun however, remember that you have to be verified in the forums here.

The most common clip loader nowadays is what, the SKS? Not exactly a frontline combat weapon. The chance of a harmful misunderstanding between clip and magazine is about as likely as clip being used as its original sense in combat. I think it's about time magazine and clip have a business merger, or hostile takeover, whichever.

Clips are still widely used, just not in the form we all see in that annoying (but useful) image.

Moon clips! Allows fast cartridge loading in revolvers (faster than speedloaders), fast ejection, and the ability to use rimless cartridges in revolvers, like the 45ACP cartridge.

Well like Combine said they curve like a banana and the person who tacked the "clip" part on didn't know the difference.

Worst example of that is in the Matrix Reloaded, where one of the twins shoots many hundreds of rounds from his UMP, and then puts it down like he's out of ammo.
