SW40F Slide problem
Hey there. Name's Guus (pronounced Gus) and I registered just today! I bought my 2nd airsoft gun today, the S&W 40F CO2 (my other guns are just CO2 BB/Pellet pistols). this is a great gun so far, I tried it out once and it's pretty awesome. One lil problem, though. I bet I'm doing something wrong but ... whenever I pull the two side thingies down at the same time to remove the slide, the slide will kinda bump forward but that's it, I tried pulling it off some more, tried lifting it up, and tried wiggling it around. I tried it in various ways, with the pullies down, up, and nothing worked! What am I doing wrong?? (or is there something wrong with the gun??

Not sure if that's going to help, but Glocks have to have their hammer cocked before slide can be removed. Since Sigma is kind of based around Glock it might work as well.

Well I just tried. after I cocked the gun and pulled the release buttons down, the slide wouldn't move at all. My fingers are hurting now from keeping the release buttons down as I keep trying to remove the slide. On my previous attempts though, when the slide did bump forward, I felt a sense of looseness, it felt somewhat disconnected already but something is just keeping it down on the gun. I don't know what to do. Thanks though.

This may sound stupid, but did you remember to remove your magazine first?

I'll probably just take it in for repairs then.

You have to pull back before pulling it forward off. I have the metal version of this gun and it had me stumped for a few minutes. Any problems PM me, I know this gun inside out.

you have to cock the gun, remove the mag, press the release thinggy, and literally ''hit '' the back of the slide to make the slide come off....
