RIS/Reciever gap. What can be done?
I have a shakey RIS. Bought used, should've seen it coming. Anyways i think i can help if i can get a rail riser or cover to span the gap between the upper reciever and the top rail of the RIS. Any suggestions?

There's a type of rail that joins the RIS and the receiver rail together, called a Nitro rail. Search for NV-SMB-RS16GR on www.wgcshop.com.
Other than that, if the RIS and receiver are the same height you could probably get away with a 20mm riser rail, the Nitro would be far more secure though. |

WGC doesn't allow direct links from what I can tell, so that's about as precise as it gets. If you search that exact part number it should pop up.

I just have the top rail cover on my SR-16 part way back so it ties in with the top reciever rail. I never had the wobble issue to begin with, this is just to prevent it.

do these things lock into the rail like a scope, or do they just slide over. As for red ghost, is yours this nitro rail or just a plane jane rail cover?

I'm just using the rail covers that came with the gun. Nothing fancy at all. It's just that the top one has been slid back to cover a small portion of the receiver rail. It looks a little off, but beauty in function.
