VSR-10 tightbore fps increase
I've got a question for all you VSR-10 owners:
What was the fps increase after you installed a tightbore? I'm going to be getting one and want to know what combination of upgrades will get me to about 450 fps. Thanks. |

Tightbores are more for accuracy than FPS increase. They should complement other upgrades rather than be relied upon to increase BB velocity.

15-20fps is usually the amount.
Also if you teflon tap the area around the hopup to make a better seal it will increase the fps a bit more. http://www.airsoftretreat.com/oldforums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=68253&SearchTerms=Dusk's,upgrad e,guide |

If you're making it to the scrims this weekend I can show you mine which shoots ~445fps w/ 0.20g. I used the following:
VSR-10 G-Spec base, PSS10 130 spring, PSS10 430mm 6.03mm tightbore, teflon taped hop-up unit and I cut the air brake off of the stock piston. |

I can't make it out this weekend, but maybe another time, when I get the gun maybe I'll hit you up for some advice on upgrades
