TM AK47
Hi guys,
I was searching for a good aeg when i landed on this gun (TM AK47) I looked the review and the guy said it was a good gun and dosnt wobble when it fires. I wanted to know if someone ever had one and wat they hated and what they loved about this gun. Im just starting and i already have a glock 18c so it would help to tell me more about this gun. PS: Srry if this post was already posted or something close to it.

According to the thread, "What IS the best AEG?" (or my take on it it, anyway)... TM's AK-47 is the winner.

Get an Ak. You'll be happy. If you want something smaller and something you can compact, get a G36C.
Their made with the same version gearbox can't go wrong with a V3. |

I have a TM ak 47 my advice to you is buy one! its sturdy no berrel wobble, very accurate and in my opinion is one sexy bitch. You wont regret getting the ak 47, just take my advice think long and hard wich one you want the 47 or thr 47s I have the regular 47 and I wish I had got th 47s because of the metal folding stock . There exactly the same in performace only difference is the folding stock But remember if you get the s you will have to sacrifice battery capacity because the stick battery that goes for the 47s is less mah then the large one for the regular ak, but I dont think thats a problem it will still give you more then enough charge for you to play with. my advice get the ak47 s because it gives you two choices, a long rifle or when you need it just fold the stock and got a bad ass close quarters gun. Get the ak47s

If you get a TM AK47, and you want a smaller gun eventually, just buy a Spetz later. Then you use the same batteries, same mags, and you have a shorter gun.
Take a look at the ICS and CA version too. Go to a game and see them in person (get age-verified at the same time). |

I've never once regreted my purchase of the AK, great range, rof, fps, solidity, weight and style points.

I'm not talking from personal experience but, like Greylocks said, have a look to ICS and CA variants of AK series.
Owners of the ICS variant seems to highly reccomend it. And you get full metal body out of the box. Tough with TM AKs you can't go wrong, it has proven his quality over the time and is still one of the best AEG out there (see "What is the best AEG" topic). I would reccomend you a fullstock variant, it will gives you a much bigger battery space and can carry a large battery. |

if you are a person who likes wood AKs and wants a metal body and the same quality and "upgraded internals" like the ICS then wait for the ICS wood/metal version. its due anytime soon

The CA steel/wood one is available already on airsoftgi for $440US, so when it gets to Canada, I would assume it to be closer to $600-700.

440 u.s. is more like 800 and plus in Canada. A stock TM AEG is a bit more than 200 USD , in Canada it comes to 450-500.

As we see on ASCA, CA M15 are roughly $500 or so, where it retails for roughly $310US (~$360CDN), so which is about a ~39% markup for customs, shipping, brokerage, etc. CA Prices in the US is approx the same in HK, so $440US gun (~$488CDN) with 39% markup would be about $680. If we assume shipping, license fees, brokerage fees doesn't linearly scale with the cost, but rather a fixed cost per gun, it would make the retail cost of the gun cheaper. Also, the $440 price tag in the US might only be high since there's a short supply, I wouldn't be surprised if the price got slashed once every US retailer has it in stock. So the $600-700 might not be too bad of a guess. |

How much do you think a used ICS AK74M shooting at 420FPS would go for here in canada? (BC)
