Packs and laptops - Maxpedition?

Hey all,

It's my understanding that this was partially addressed in the thread about the LightFighter RAID pack from a while ago. However, I'm looking for some clarification and any input on the issue.

I'm going to be picking up a 17in. MacBook very soon, and would like a pack sufficient to carry it along with some college textbooks and the like. I've been looking around at Maxpedition's stuff but can't find any references to laptops beyond their shoulder bags (which isn't what I'm looking for; I'm after a solid backpack or 'gearslinger'-style backpack). I don't want the MacBook to get crushed so I'm looking for something, ideally, with an internal laptop sleeve. I would probably purchase a seperate padded sleeve for the Mac anyway, but the extra protection would be great. Anything roughly around the same price range as the Maxpedition GearSlinger Typhoon ($100USD) would be great.

Thanks!

The MBP aluminum can be dented somewhat easily, so if you're concerned I'd suggest getting a hard sleeve, such as the School Hymn 17 (http://www.crumpler.com.au/Cart/index.php?catId=5) that you can just throw into your pack.
