First airsoft SKS!
It maybe cheap, plastic, and not really fieldable, still, its the first damn SKS in airsoft! Well an SKS-D, but either way...
http://www.kapowwe.com/Merchant2/mer...id-SKS-airsoft Too bad its non semiauto like the shell ejecting M4, and too bad the cocking handle is seperate from the silver bolt carrier. Would definately be much, much more awesome if those two problems would be fixed. A nice wood upgrade using a real SKS stock (really cheap up here) with some fitting moditications would be pretty sweet as well... Either way, thought someone might be interested in seeing this one. Cheers! Alex |

I'd gladly play with a real AEG SKS that's semi-only. Wish someone would make one. It was my first real steel gun so I have something of a soft spot for these oft-neglected guns. I should take mine out of the safe more often...

Since the real SKS is semi auto only for starters, I dont see the problem. I love the older classic guns.
And yes, real wood and fittings are too easy to get. Damn, they used the later model. I'd want the original 'fixed' mag. |

The clip fed fixed mag is much nicer...
Anyway, The gun is nice, always wanted one, but the poor plastic, screws visible and spring / capgun combination doesn't say good preformance or durability. I'm skeptical. Though, I think it's assumed already to be another low quality one. |

It may be of low quality, but its' a starting point at least. If there is interest in this SKS, who knows who may take notice and start making their own AEG versions.
I really liked the flip-out bayonet. |

Just hoping the manufacturer goes for realism and accuracy versus catering to the spray-and-pray hicap crowd. |

you can have a dirty firing pin and slamfire full auto conversion for realism

Yep, a nice gasblowback SKS would be very sweet, with a properly moving bolt and boltstop, along with a ten round non detachable mag. Has to be 8mm too! Hopefully Marushin makes one They outta make it compatable with real steel stocks, those could cost under $20!
A slam fire or a sear conversion can just be an added bonus to the creative gunsmith Although 10 rounds go by fast... Cheers, Alex |

What about that guy that was trying to make a GBB AK and got his thread locked?
Maybe get him to attempt such a feet? That is, if he is serious about it. I would definately take one, hopefully there could be a expansion chamber for better gas usage and a stock filled with gas.... and 6mm, for the cheapness of the BBs. |

To be completely honest, how much are they going to go for and who can get them in? I'd f*ckin love to have that, not even for field use but for collection purpose.
Also whereaboots does one find the caps for it? |

You know what, I bet this might just get accross the border as a capgun/toy. Id love the semi auto M4A1 this company also makes, odd that the SKS doesnt feature it (perhaps just not yet, as its a prototype.).
Either way, if someone gets one of these capgun/shell ejectors, let me know! And yes, it does use regular dollar store caps, the red 8 shot ones. Cheers, Alex |

8mm sucks
to get an 8mm bb moving at ~330 fps would mean about 1.8J of energy |
