Split Personality? Cnd Impression

Well, I've almost got all of it together. Right now I have my Canadian Uniform, Gaitors, Boots, an' my Bayonet Frog in the mail. It should arrive soon. But for now, here is my small collection of webbin'. All Wartime dated.

Mk II Canadian Maker Marked Helmet (My Headsize, what a find!)
Basic Pouches X4
Small Pack + L-straps
Large Pack + L-straps + Blanket Straps X2
Shoulder Straps X4
Canteen + Carriers X2
Bayonet
Belt
Ammo Pouches X2
Brace Extenders X2
Mess Tin (Aluminum Wartime dated. No led coated ones for me!)
Mk II Entrenching Tool

Since a Enfield is long time comin', I will be playin' with my Thompson (I couldn't resist buyin' it). As for insignia I will be gatherin' a set for the Cape Breton Highlanders as that is the unit my Great Uncle served in.

If any of you are lookin' for a close up shot of any equipment, just reply an' Ill fire up the camera

Nice kit. I was actually thinking of puting one together but the Newfoundland regiment. Get most of the stuff of ebay? I was looking for online stores for repro or real uniform parts but couldnt find much. Any idea where I could start looking?

Actually most of my items came from online retailers such as Military Tour, some from local dealers such as Crown Surplus an' Army Surplus Kelowna an' my uniform JUST arrived..like, I'm openin' it right now...from WhatPriceGlory.com. (Boots, tunic, pants, etc) they are busy, but they deliver in 3 weeks max. I'm impressed. I will post pictures after I stop fangirling

Ok, rippin' open the parcel complete, tryin' on everythin' complete, wrestling with another ill-fittin' gaitor set...complete. (I don't know why but I ordered the largest set they had an' they don't fit me, which reminds me of the German gaitors. My calf mucles are about twice as big as they should be, a throw back from when I worked out alot)

Anyway, beautiful uniform, beautiful boots. Rather stiff still so it needs wear, dirt an' all things good

I ordered the Canadian Buttons with it so I've got a bit of sewin' to do, an' I need to pick up some dye to get the wool to the Canadian Green (Canadian BDU's had a slightly more green colour to them)
