It also depends on how the Customs feels on that particular day. Even those can be seized and then it's up to you to fight the system.
Dont forget little things like the Exchange rate and taxes, shipping costs, etc. |

Flashlights are not likely to be a problem, but any gun part has been known to be stopped for sometimes really stupid reasons.
Getting age-verified and buying in Canada is still the safest option. Trying to import anything at all when can be dicey as you can be defrauded and not have quite as much legal protection for yourself. |

Terrorist!!!!! lol
You should be able to so long as the object does not break any laws by itself then ya you should though if you get a stupid customs agent it may be delayed by the person thats obsessive about opening is all.

Import (through channels), no reason why not. Bringing it across yourself, specially if you are under 18 and using your parents car (for example) may not be a bright move.
You can also get age-verified and buy in Canada. Then there are no worries. |

Grenade Discharger
OK since no one listed "grenade", what are the chances this item will get seized? I mean, tape up that little red dot and well, sure looks damn real to me.

Very good chance it will get seized, since it looks like a real grenade. Read the importation FAQ.

USA is overseas too. Interesting...I've never seen any items that have different shipping depending on where you are from eHobby.
