CA36 12v battery???
Has anyone used or tried anything like the "12V 1700mAh (10pcs) - Mini Battery (For G36 & CA8-2)" battery in their CA36 series gun? Here is a link:

Yikes. I would really hope whoever's running one is using triple torque up gears and a Systema M150. That's DEFINITELY not a battery you want to use in a stock gun unless you enjoy replacing pistons after one trigger pull.

That answers my question, I'm getting a CA36k in a few days, looking for a good battery with 1000+ mah... Perferably 8.4v or 9.6v...

For CA36s, the rule of thumb is something like Intellect 8.4v 1400mah NiMH mini battery.

www.cheapbatterypacks.com and get them to build you your choice of pack out of the new Elite 1500 mAh cells. Make sure you order the proper connector because there is a difference between airsoft and non-airsoft mini-Tamiya connectors!
