TM AK47 Mags

Does anyone know which mags fit best with the TM AK47?

Tm mags fit best.

I had a ?G&P? AK74 Midcap that was NOT working satisfactory, it was misfeeding.

Star mags worked fine for me, the short time I had them.

Thats it for personal experience

TM mags work well, as do G&P mid-caps and Star real-caps. I have also heard and seen first hand Star '74 pattern midcaps fitting fine on a plastic body. This is in my experience with a stock plastic body. If you ever decide to go with a metal body you should be aware that some mags will not fit as well or at all. For example, the TM, G&P, and Star real-caps fit fine in mine but the '74 pattern midcaps don't feed properly.

CA mags fit fine in mine. I'll let you know how well they sit after I install the metal body.

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm planning on upgrading to a metal body, eventually. So obviously I want to minimize the costs involved, so my next question is, what brand of mags will fit BOTH the metal body and the plastic body?

Good question ColtFarmer, and to be honest, I have no idea. I only have future plans for a metal body, which is why I'm asking. Perhaps I should reword the question, what brand of mags fit both the metal body (and which metal body) AND the plastic body?

I just installed a DTP metal body and all my mags fit fine. TM and CA lows have no problems, TM high caps are a perfect fit.
