I need help

Hey everyone,
I need help. I currently have a 350 fps pump shotgun, pretty good quality and a terrible uzi haha. Anyway, I get my paycheck in Feb. and I'm wondering if anyone thinks I should get a new Secondary OR a new Primary. The primary i'm thinking of is a TM AUG or a TM AK47. If getting a secondary, I'm thinking of a HFC Desert Eagle, or maybe a HFC Dark Halk. Input is highly appreciated .

K...

K...first off how did you know I'm 14, and second, my parents are on board with me airsofting so with them buying the guns for me it shouldn't matter. Also, I have my gun liscence, and my hunter safety liscence prooving I can be trusted with guns.

Dude, we have self imposed laws, don't try to skirt around them. If you are a mature guy who is really interested in shelling out over a grand for your airsoft gear, then you will be able to wait.

Otherwise you'll buy something on a whim and then 6 months later you'll be trying to sell it to some guy you know because you've moved on to weed and beer....

We don't really care if your parents are on board, they aren't OUR parents and as such can't really make us sell anything to you. Out of curiousity, what is the official name of your 'gun license'?

Check the laws about Replica Guns. Have your parents read those laws too so they understand what they are getting into. I bet they dont know what they have to do, and it's worse than for real guns.

So, as asked, show your maturity by following the rules.

Alright then, not the responses I was hoping for. Now to address some of that. Okay, first off, Following the rules is exactly what I'm doing. I'm 15 in less than a month, and there are many games that include teenagers 15-16. I do realize there is no reason to trust a 15 year old, but I am surprised there isn't more trust in the airsoft community in general. I guess I just got the worst replies I could have hoped for, and there are many, many people my age who airsoft. And yes, they have read those laws. My dad is more responsible and mature about guns than many people in the military. He would not let me do airsoft unless he had the upmost trust and belief in my responsibility. I AM mature, which none of you can truly judge me on, seeing as how you haven't even met me. Oh btw Duff Man, I'm not buying from you genius, I buy from A&A. And pip, I know many people who's lives have been ruined by drugs and alchahol, and I'm not about to ruin mine. Also, I can wait, and I plan too before getting onto a descent team.
So before all of you go using your "insults" on me, how bout actually knowing one more thing about me than my age.

well no offense, but almost being 15 still won't get you a gun from a retailer unless your dad buys it, which is probably your fallback plan anyways. The only reason most people are flaming you is because NOT most games include 15-16, at least in Ontario, I assure you. Trust is a hard thing to gain here, since all it takes is a teenager waving his new GLock around at school to get arrested and the sport canned on by soccer moms yet AGAIN.

And also, it doesn't matter if your father is all gung-ho about guns, what he says and does does not concern you, YOU concern you and it's your decisions on whether to act like a fool when it comes to airsoft or not. The very fact that you're getting defensive over tha matter drops your maturity points by 1 and it'll take a lot more than that to get some trust in the community. Hell I'm 20 years old and I'm still pretty uninformed when it comes to some airsoft things.

And I don't insult Duff Man, good way to put yourself in the airsoft circles, insulting a senior member, thumbs up.

And Pip is right, maybe not about the drugs, but about the interest. You're almost 15 years old, and teenagers' interests change fast. You may like airsoft now and decide when you're 18 and much more mature that you'd rather have money for your college tuition. It's just a fact he pointed out, airsoft is NOT cheap, my starter kit cost over $1000 and I've spent about $6000 so far, though it doesn't really show it lol. Just keep an open mind about it.

It's a good thing to see that you're willing to wait 3 years to get into a team, I hope airsoft is with that too. And unless you write out a 10,000 word biography on yourself, no, we won't know a thing about you. Hell, I've been in airsoft for like 5 months now and I'm still known as "that guy with the hard-to-pronounce asian name"

I definitely understand that, Takatorriku, and all those points are very valid. But just a couple replies (if it seemed like it, I wasn't insulting anyone, and I wasn't trying to be defensive I was just trying to earn the respect I deserve). I am very responsible when it comes to guns, and I don't act like a fool. I know I can't exactly proove this to any of you, because I don't live in Ontario, I live in Saskatchewan. Also, I do realize that interests change fast, but I have been doing airsoft for around two years now, and I"ve always had a high interest for simulations. I've had a job for around two years, and have around three grand saved for college, and about 2.5 saved for my first car. I know it's not a lot, but I'm just trying to make a point. I am willing to spend a lot of money on airsoft. I believe life should be spent experiencing instead of sitting at an office all day long hoping for that one day before you're 80 years old for that awesome raise.
And again, If it sounded like I was insulting anyone or getting defensive, I'm sorry I didn't mean to come off like that. I was just trying to gain respect. If I offended anyone or accidentally insulted anyone I appologize, if it was this message or another.

Oh, and P.S.- Many airsoft games in Saskatchewan do include member my age

No they don't, as I told via PM there has been the odd exception made but that was mainly for family or very close friends. Most of the known community actually does not have 14/15 year olds playing. And by known I mean establish teams and members known locally and on ASC, not kids playing in backyards or farms.

Well, if I'm gonna get flamed for asking a simple advice question, I'm wondering why I'm even trying with Airsoft Canada. Why is it no one can answer one advice question without raising all these issues about me being "immature", or "a fool" when they haven't met me, more than that actually seen my with a gun or a replica. And BloodSport, I appologize because I misunderstood what you wrote. I thought it was for the teams, not for the games. I was under the impression people of my age with parental supervision were permitted to play, and it was only the team that required exceptions. I guess I'll wait one-three more years to airsoft, to avoid getting flamed for a simple question.

the only young'n i know who plays airsoft around here is Atreyu's kid, and only because his father brings him to every game HE goes to. Good player by the way. So cheers if you CAN play over there. Cuz if you're underage and you want to play then your dad should be prepared to attend EVERY game you go to and stay for the WHOLE day. Now THAT'S father-son commitment!

And also, not to be mean or not, but you've been on this forum for a total of 3 weeks, you've not earned respect yet.

Keep saving up, college is a lot more expensive nowadays, my sister pays like $12,000 a semester, so $24 grand a year! If you've really been into airsoft for 2 years (meaning you were playing when you were 12 O_o) then I suppose you're pretty serious about it and I hope you can have the means to drop $4000-odd on guns, gear, accessories and necessities.

A tip: Don't gun whore. 1 rifle, 1 pistol, and all mags are all you need. I learned that the hard way :P

Thanks for the response Tak, and you are right about the college tuition, and definitely right about the money. Heh you're the only one on here that hasn't been hostile to me....yet. lol. but anyway your point is very valid about my dad having to come out to a lot of games, and he does work ALOT, but we have a good relationship. I might not be able to get to all the games I'd like to, but prolly a few. I'm now considering waiting till I'm a bit older, cuz if I got flamed like this at a game it would definitely be more embarrasing, and I'd lose a lot of respect I'm assuming. It also wouldn't be good if the person flaming was drunk. wow. anyway, thanks for not being hostile tak. lol.
