The cover of this month's ARMS is model Kaori Nazuka who has appeared on WOWOW, a satellite TV show every Wednesday from 00:00 as the main voice in the anime 'Innocent Venus'. In this issue, we'll look at Special Force Weapons, SOPMOD, M14 SOCOM and some other sexy little beasts, the newest dot-sights and special force stylings for the chic man in you. Along with that will also be the new Special Forces equipment catalog including the Okinawa Surplus Shop Guide (for the island of Okinawa - Southern Japan). Finally we'll have a sneak peek to find American Base shops!



The Semi-new TANAKA WORKS M700 A.I.C.S. which was released last year in October now comes in a new color variation of black. The previous model tended to drop off a little too early but with the new model, but with the new model it reads your potential as a sniper and is the best model built to date with a new and improved hop-up system. This model is currently far ahead of other sniper rifles in terms of accuracy and durability. The retail price in Japan is currently 58,000en while the specialty bipod and bipod mount is 12,000 en, which is the exact same version of the old bipod which typically sold for twice the list price.

Inside the rifle is alluminum alloy charge piston which makes this no toy gun. It reproduces a stable representation as much as we don't think it is toy (sorry about this, I'm working on translating and it's difficult with the fuggin Kanji). The M700 comes with an adjustable cheek plate which moves up, down, left and right to adjust to the users facial pattern. All of the motion is smooth by the gas-bolt action unit thanks to it's tremendous track record. Magnificently this model of a dream has raised.

Western Arms Pistols

Sig ARMS GSR Revolution. MSRP: 27,000en. The touch of this pistol feels real to the typical hand. It matches the real model and will match up directly to your hand. The grip is a standard style grip placed onto most of the Western Arms pistols. This is a direct new arrival from Shibuya Custom Works - 3rd Floor. It is also the orthodox style form which has a right rail and heavy-weight slide and frame. It comes in both a silver and black frame and body, both at 27,000en. Both adapt to vito-grip (?) and was made by Heretz in the USA which is the exact same manufacturer of the real version.

The silver puppy in the top corner is the W.A. Gold Match II which is the tournament target model. It carries an adjustable sight and two-hole-type custom trigger and velocity reaper piston as standard new parts. This dog has a heavy-weight slide and grip and weighs over 1kg! The magazine holds a 21+1 ammunition reservoire and weighs a total of 1,030 grams!

This last model in the lower right corner is the WIlson Combat pistol which is now retailing at 24,000en. The magazine is a 28+1 capacity in the extended magazine and will accept both extended and standard size magazines for any Colt MK-IV pistols. Green gas is what is expected to be used in this while red gas is another option shown to work equally well with it's metal slide. Super-Grade!

Marushin U.S. M2 Carbine Blowback MAXI Rifle. This puppy shoots 8mm bb's and is gas powered through the magazine. Each magazine holds 15 rounds and runs on green gas. This new (relativly) battery discharger works wonders and comes in separate models with either mini and regular plug connectors. The price is a 1580en and available throughout Japan and apparently through some places here in Canada. It is a 'soft' discharger, like a trickle dis-charger. It will release the electricity and arranges the batterys condition for maximum life span. It is similar in size and shape to a real pineapple grenade and close to the same weight and can be enjoyed as a part to be left in the tool-box or as an accessory.



The ocver model is Kaori Nazuka. She is the voice acctress for Military Action anime which is the animation that says it is good.



Nazuka-san also plays the main heroine in the anime Innocent Venus, of which info can be found at http://www.innocent-v.com.



She is appearing on Innocent Venus, ARMS magazine and quite a few other portfolio mens style magazines as a model. The people who watch the animation Innocent Venus knows that she is naive and is a very natrual woman by personality sake.



She is acting very well as a beautiful girl Saya who is innocence in the animation. Her public side includes her on the radio program as well InoV Kaihonode Revelation Emancipation and is the main personality for the program, so let's listen to the program together!

In the animation Innocent Venus, two guns appeared. ARMS magazine suggested these two guns to be built by some of Japan's best custom gun builders. This is one of two prototypes produced by Phantom Gunworks in Yokosuku, Japan. The first rifle is a Custom 35 Version to shoot humans with at longer ranges than even an upgraded Tokyo Marui PSG-1. The animation and ARMS magazine collaborated to suggest using this gun as a main item and will possibly be the next specialty gun made by Tokyo Marui. The second model is a Model Glock G18C custom.

We will introduce the two main guns. Counter-sniper technology is evenloping in this period in the Miliweb system (in this animation). Also, FLIR nado system is included and uplinked directly with the scope is a small LCD screen on the interior which is connected wirelessly to a UAV system. Also incorporated into the barrel is a laser-dot which is ejected through the second hole in the front of the barrel. MiliWeb Observation was considered in the design of the period of the animation.

The receiver is based on a Craft Apple Works M24SWS. The receiver is made entirely of poly-moulded ABS plastic while the sotck is made by carrot Designs and also made of a high polymer resin as wsa the scope and bipod.

RCS Radar has been incorporated a Barret deflected area on the front as it is a larger flat barrel than most. It was reducing the area to reflect radar and sound 'pings' so the rifle on it's own is nearly impossible to detect with anything other than the naked eye.

The laser-range finder on the front of the barrel is also tied in directly into the scope and is using a small micro-computer held in the stock to help identify where the threat is, by using standard red laser and infrared laser. The scope calculates the temperature and air pressure and direction of the wind on the screen of the finder, which only shows up when the rifle is turned 'on'. While the rifle is still fully functional as an airsoft gun before the computer is turned on, the computer only has a run-time of two hours of turned on. The computer also helps you shoot and hit the target as much as a professional.



The scope design is a fully functioning LCD computer screen. It is a six-corner 2.5" LCD screen

-New gas blowback gun produced by Tokyo Marui - the Glock 17; it is exactly reproduced the latest third generation series of this model. The latest generation is considered vast superior. The gun carrys a hammer cokcing indicatior as well with a sliding back in a Glock series feature, the trigger progresses and indicates to get ready to shoot.By considered the gas blowback mechanism and dial hopup system, it is expected high capability for real shooting experience.

It is inserted metal parts in the slidestop notch as well as M1911A1 Colt Government Model. The endurance and operation improved. The magazine is made of high quality resin outer shell which is able to accomodate 17 bb's just like the real gun although the TM version is also made of zinc. The number of bullets in the higher capacty magazine is 25 and also made of high quality resin.

Tanaka M870 Gas Shotgun


The second of the gas shot series is the Masterpiece M870 Remington Long Nighter shotgun and Tanaka is proud of this gun, that is for sure. The M870 shotgun was chosen as the second series of gas shot guns. First was the Winchester M1897 using unique shot shells which are actually individual gas catridges.

The M870 shotgun is the most well known in the world, it is a pump action style gun invted by Remington in America and is for hunting, house protection and military/law enforcement. It is used all over the world.

The name widely penetrates into the toy gun fans mind as much as it points out the M870 series to speak of shotguns in Japan. Indeed it is the king of shotguns!
