Wow. You just pwn'd every MP5 operator out there. That thing sure looks high-speed.

Your hicappa looks pretty good, but as a 1911 builder, I'm slightly confused by your set-up. It's like a love child of a IPSC , and tactical 1911... lol nice, but I don't know about fieldable.

The Hi-Cappa was a confusing one. I built it with the original intent to use it for the Airsoft IPSC comps we have here in Calgary but then I decided to make it fieldable. I added on the strike kit to compensate for the larger amount of recoil added by the super hi-flow valves in my mags. I know Airsoft recoil isn't much but this gun had enough to effect the sight picture.

Previously I was running the same set up but without the hybrid slide set. It worked GREAT in the field. I just had to modify my holster to accept the holo-sight. Other than that, it's fantastic. The gun crono's at 375 fps with 0.20's and out shoots any stock AEG.

So, yes, it is a love child and it likes being one. lol.

does the nine ball rail for the 5.1 screw into the frame or does it attach onto the rail?

Guiltyspark: It attaches to the 5.1 rail via some hex screws. It's just compression fit. You have to use some locktight in order for the screws to not come loose due to vibration.

Sniperbay: I actually have one of the old WA Infinity Xcellerators as well (Silver) I had to put it into retirement though as it was starting to break down. That's what inspired me to go for the hybrid look. I just liked it way too much. =)
