Do any companies make completely steel M4/16 selectors?

The stock selector switch on my G&P SR-25 stripped so the selector would spin but the disk inside that moves the selector plate would sit still. The selector and the disk seem to have been made of potmetal. I decided to order a Guarder "steel" selector from ASCA, came in today and I found out the switch is in fact steel but the disk is PLASTIC! The thing stripped first time I tried to move it (I have a really stiff selector plate apparently.) So do any manufacturers make a fully steel selector, as in switch AND disk?

I stripped one on my ICS M4 and wound up making one out of steel while waiting for the replacement parts to get to me. The Dremel is your friend.

Hmmm...don't have any steel thats thick enough handy but I have some high grade (possibly aircraft grade) aluminum sheet thats thick enough, might try that after I get back from QP3, thanks.

King Arms also makes a full metal one but its potmetal (zinc alloy) same as the G&P one that I stripped already. Might make an order and snag a pile of em (G&G, Proud, KA, SystemA, etc.) from Redwolf or WGC and write a quick review of em. Gotta get some more free space on my VISA first...damn tuition.

I didn't know KA would release such a crappy product. Usually their stuff is top-notch.

I think hurricane has something you could use, but it may be part of an overpriced kit.

Kos is correct hurricane does make a set of steel accessories. But it is very pricey at least 100 and up, they are worth it though.
