I was mainly wondering about
i think its the gas block but not sure its the part under the slide that has a plastic cylinder and a piston
what does that do and are there any metal parts to go here to make it more durrable

Diagrams like this make it easier when you want to refer to a part. Use the assigned numbers:

Other parts that are prone to breakage are these parts:

- #83
- #24
- #19

All parts are/were manufactured by an aftermarket company from stronger materials. Some are no longer in production (#83), but if you look hard enough, may still be able to find it.

#83 is made by GRS (but called a different part #)
#24 and 19 is made by Firefly.

yes you can get upgraded or reinforced parts for 23,24,25,27 I never saw the point of upgrading them the stock ones worked great for me though and part 10 also has an aftermarket part. also for even more durrability you can go with aftermarket parts 83, 74, and 19. but as pointed out already some parts are becoming harder to find. in the end I went to the glock 19 as it came with more metal stock like part 10.

10 and 22 are plastic all the outher parts atre metal as far as i can tell even 78 that i hear breaks if you dry fire with the slide off.
Thanks again for the info
next Q I seen athis airsoft sergeon part 24 it claims to reduce gas consuption would that not reduce FPS? or does it maintain power through efficiencey.
pardon my spelling

does the part 81 pin thing go over or under part 78
my problem is the gun will shoot 2 roud burst and then not re rack the hammer and sometimes the gas will vent
damn these GBB's are a pain in the arse if you buy a cheap slide:banghead:

Dishsoap and warm water will work fine without messing up your gun.

See?

No prob. I had to wash both my G19 and my MK23 after Quick Pass III last month, was a reasonable amount of sand in both, not enough to make them not shoot, but enough to make it feel gritty.
