velocity grid
Hi
does anyone have a reference grid about the velocities : ex 290 fps = can make a hole in a card a box at ... feet ? Thanks |

thanks here is what i found on the internet
Well around 260Fps you bb will get stuck in the cardboard, around 270fps~ish it will penatrate and fall on the other side. around 280-290fps it will go through the card board with enough force to get through but no real damage on the other side, 310-330fps will go through on the other side of the card board it will hurt somewhat depends on how close( 10 feet away it will sting, 20 u'll feel it but won't hurt...) but then any then around 350fps the bb will go though with enough force to do a lot of hurt on the other side, 380-420 you dont want to be behind the cardboard. i could tell you that from about a foot away 320fps will go through the cardboard and still have decent range( like 30-40ft)... i hope i helped... bye |

There's always the sure-bet option of investing in a real Chrony. End of any problem or guesses after that.
