Gun model
So exactly what gun is the G3 SAS modeled after? because it sure isn't the H&K G3 series, the real life series is an automatic rifle as opposed to an SMG, It is really similar to the H&K Smg lines, but I can't seem to match it to an exact gun, so I am wondering what gun is it modeled after and who uses said model of gun in active service?

G3 Sas doesn't really exist as far as I know, due to its too short of a movability of the cocking handle.
What I want is an MC51K (or HK51K). Muzzleflash to the max: YouTube - HK51k at night

It *is* part of the G3 series, though, no matter how much of a kitbash it is. The most important section, the receiver, is standard G3.

oh kool, i didn't know that and it never really seemed that similar in my eyes, but that clears some things up a little, and other than the G3 type reciever what gun models does it take after the I know in the airsoft world you can use alot of Mp5 accessories and attachments for it and was wondering if that has something to do with it in the real world?

slightly related tangent.
Couldn't you turn a G3 SAS into a full sized G3 with stock kits? Wouldn't that make it fucking awesome? |
