Custom gas-powered Benelli M1014
http://www.geocities.jp/yujiji1013/ You need to translate Japanese->English. Descroption snagged from Arnie's: "Owners of the Craft Apple Work’s Benelli M1014 beware that this is not just the spring powered CAW Benelli, but with Yuji Gun Factory’s modified Maruzen M1100 semi-auto gas cartridge blowback model. Boasting G&P’s Benelli folding stock on a full-size M4 custom (CAW 1014), this is every shotgun user’s dream. With the help of the gas cartridge ejecting system found on Maruzen’s M1100 series, you too can enjoy the realism of loading the cartridges (7+1) and firing on semi-auto leaving the field nothing but spent cartridges on the floor. The operation of this gun is exactly like the Maruzen M110 shotgun, in which gas is loaded into the grip, shells are inserted, and the bolt is charged prior to firing. The gun fires on semi-auto so there is no pump-action on this model. Yuji Gun Factory has been always known for his high-end customs of most Marui-based shotguns like the M3 and SPAS12 with pump shell ejection) and blowback systems and other highly rare customs not available anywhere. Price for this custom gun is ¥89800. Folk’s in Japan I highly recommend you see his guns." Link to video: http://www.geocities.jp/yujiji1013/video2.wmv

That's beautiful, but I wonder if they changed the firing mechanism from the 1100's, which invariably seemed to mess up if used green gas in them (I remember back in the day of the Airsoft Zone dboard, a bunch of owners all ran into the problem after using green gas for a short while).

89800 Yen -> $900 -> 3x that for Canadian prices?
Eeeek. Would be pretty cool though. |

It's beautiful but I like the satisfaction of pumping. I'm surely not paying $2700 for a gun comprised of a couple hundred worth of parts and custom work. It best be metal at least.... |

No one would be "trying" to triple that price. It's just a fact.
