Super Torque Up Gears

So, I'm wondering. My battery (1400 Mah mini) is having a hard time pulling the M120S in my G36. I plan on lowering the spring to an M110 and adding a couple other minor upgrades (bearing spring guide and possibly new piston/cylinder) to make up for the FPS loss a tiny bit. But will torque up gears make it easier/less drain on my battery to pull the spring? From my (very limited) understanding it will, but it will also lower my ROF. Yes, no? I can't really find too much information on them. Thanks for the help.

It'll definitely help your battery, and you'll be able to pull your spring back, may even increase your rate of fire since it'll be easier to pull back that spring. From my experience going from standard gears to double torque ups, the rate of fire change was un-noticeable like maybe 50rpm.

ok, but for spring-pulling, the battery capacity really makes the difference - unless you don't want to change the battery.
if you do, 2500/3000 mAh should be ok.

I don't know where to get 2500-3000 MaH mini batteries. I've never seen any above 1400 around here.

you can't fit anything bigger than a mini battery in a G36 without buying a few body parts anyway, thats why you need torque up gears.

depending on your motor, yes. A CA, TM or Eagle force motor will be fine, I've tried them all. I have a nice set of Prometheus STT gears for sale if you would like them. They are helical but they still use full tooth pistons. I have a video of them and my shim guide. They are $70USD +s/h (~$15USD) if you are interested. You can also use a mosfet switch to boost your life span and ROF. Normally torque gears can decrease ROF but in some cases they do increase it. If you are using a M120 it would decrease your ROF. My gears really wouldn't be a good choice for anything under an m120 but if you ever decide to make a v2 or v3 DMR they will support a ms150 (~500FPS despite common retail listings).
