maybe they got it and then immediately saw the price of magazines after lol
I've heard alot of reports of people putting together systema challenge kits and not being able to get them to work too, if your reading this you have to jump start the gun, touch the wire leads on your battery directly to the motor leads. Don't ask me HOW it works, but it does work lol

Other than a shard of metal jamming the trigger in my mechbox, my SCK went together fine and worked properly first trigger pull once the battery was hooked up. As for why so many are for sale, perhaps some people splurged on one and realized that they can't validate the cost of owing the gun or buying accessories so they sell em, don't know, all I know is my PTW wont be for sale until I get a better PTW or possibly never.

There have been guys who've bought them at a volume price, then re-sell a few with mark-up to offset the cost of the one they do keep. So, in the end, their PTW costs them $500, but they have to front the initial $5000 to do it.

I'm not selling mine anytime soon, nore my ICS,G&P,CA lol. They are a different beast to deal with and don't share parts ( other than rail iteams!) with the other manufacturers.
But the price alone to get one to a state were you can game it(like T.C. mentioned),i.e. Mag's,cyl's,spare parts,it's like starting over agin! It doesent take long to get to the $3500 to $4000.00 range just to game it!Cost is huge with them and some might feel they bit off more than they can chew once they get them.

supply and demand. not m any people have the means to get ptw's so those who do are buying them and marking em up for resale and then useing the proceeds from that, offsetting the price of theirs. i had initially planned on doing that and figured by about the 5 or 6th one id have my own ptw completley paid for, but thn i realised how much work and a stretch that would be and figured id just keep the first one, cuz you never know when your lucks going to run out, ie i could sell enough of em and gather enough funds for mine and then poof mine could get confiscated at the boarder and it would have been a big waste of my time.

I heard the next generation of PTWs is coming out within a couple weeks, maybe that is why people are selling their current ones, to upgrade to an even BETTER PTW.

an even better ptw? impossible lol... i dont see what they could do to make em better than the max? we know theyre comeing out with their long awaited mp5 varient, but i cant see what theyd do to the ar to make it better.

it was only last year m1 was selling tm locaps for $55, and g36 mags for 60, so ptw mags are almost the same price.

If systema ever makes something other than an M4/M16 Variant I'm going to be a very happy person. Although, even with just the M4's I'm considering just getting one of them and a good multicam rig and staying in airsoft with that.

Yep. You'll be able to get off 6 rounds/second in semi vs. the 5 rounds/second in the older guns. The old ones are dogs. Get the '08 PTWs!!!

BTW, when the new year comes, big price hike. Buy now!!
