Full list of parts?
Is there a list of parts anywhere that somebody can post that lists everything needed internally in an airsoft gun.
Thanks. |

I'm not sure what you're asking for. Are you asking for every individual parts (down to screws), or the major internal sections (hopup chamber assembly, mechbox)?

I can sum it all up in just one word: courage, dedication, daring, pride, pluck, spirit, grit, metal, and G-U-T-S, guts!

Basically, down to everything one would need to replace every single internal part inside of an airsoft gun. Down to everything that can be bought and used.

It varies from gun to gun and is not something that can be easily answered. TM AEGs usually comes with a manual featuring an exploded diagram plus a list of every part inside the gun, though.

Rather than buying the individual small parts (soe harder to source than others), you're probably better of buying pre-assembled components for the externals.
An example would be when you buy a metal Armalite body, you generally get the dust cover, fake bolt, charging handle, body pins, etc to go along with it. Then you can buy a full front end that includes the outer barrel, sight, and grip, delta ring, etc. Buying each individual part would be very, very tedious, and probably end up costing a lot more for the exact same parts than buying the whole components.

Hmm, basically I might try a little side project involving buying the parts and assembling the gun, I guess I'd have to go for the pre-assembled components that I could get out of country, I'd be getting the receiver, barrel in country.
Also, I lost the booklet that came with my TM AK, so that's not going to help :/, I'm guessing that the list of pre-assembled parts is along the lines of the motor, gearbox, and hop-up system? |

What are you like Radar mailing a jeep home?
Just like any other U-build process buying each part on it's own and building a car, or whatever puts you deeper in the hole than buying a couple new ones. That's not even factoring in labour. The guys that make the parts sit on warehouses of them waiting for the call for a grapple grommet to be shipped out. The tack the cost of building and storing all those parts onto that one part so what looks like should cost about 2 cents goes out the door for $12.50. |

Don't buy individual mechbox parts to try to build a mechbox. It'll be WAY too expensive, and also a headache.

I'm sorry if I was not clear, let me change everything I've said. What would I need to get non-restricted wise to do the fastest possible AEG build using receivers, barrels, frames which are already in country? I'm thinking just the whole gearbox, the motor and the hop-up.
Basically I've got an AUG shell lying around here and I'd be interested in filling it with some stock TM parts bought from wherever is cheapest. |

search on US and HK sites for complete V3 gearboxes. And wait...you don't have the metal receiver for the AUG? You might be hooped there. Depending on which part has the serial number on the real steel, the metal upper might be restricted, and I don't think any places here stock AUG receivers or barrels.

To buy all the parts required in Canada, you'd pay about as much as buying a couple of AEGs from a Canadian source. Shop the Asian airsoft shops like WGC, UNCompany, Redwolf and eHobby Asia for anything you can legally import. In your case, you already have the Aug shell handy, so you should be good to go importing pretty much everything else.

I know that I can get a mechbox from out of country, I already have the AUG shell, I'm just wondering what else do I need apart from the mechbox to complete the AEG. |
