A few mags shy of a skirmish
I am having a battery problem,my V2 mech box has just stock
gears left to be changed, the spring is a sp110 with bearings at both ends, thebatt. is a 2300 mah 8.4.I have discharged then recharged till the green light came on.I let it sit for 15 mins. went outside and could only fire 2 mags, recharged 1.5 mags. What gives?.I have been thinking about a torque up set. |

And how long did you charge it for?

The charger would only charge it for 1 hour and 15 mins.

What is the mA rating on the charger, it could be the charger or the battery or something else. What brand of battery?

It is a "powerizer".The output is 4.8-10.8 VDC. 1.00A or 1.95A.
On the front is only one switch. 1.0A--2.0A.I bought the system from Scarcrow if any one else knows this system. |

Doubt it but one isn't supposed to discharge NiMH batteries, if could kill them. I've only read that repeated dischargings will do that, not a single discharge.
As for the charger, I don't know. If it's your first time, sounds like yo uhad a setting wrong in it. Manual time. And for that spring you shouldn't need anything more than just stock TM gears. Your battery is rather low though, should look into getting a higher mAh battery, like a 3300 or 3800. Last edited by CDN_Stalker; March 19th, 2008 at 19:04.. |

Are you using a NiCD charger on a NiMH Battery?

This is a "smart charger".You plug the batt. in and the light is red.
When the light goes green, the batt. is charged. It is all beyond my control. |

How long have you had the battery? Maybe try a different battery? How old is the charger? Maybe it's about ready to kick the bucket? How long did you have the two items before they started acting up?
I hope you get it fixed, good luck.
