Gun-Cam Mount?

I have a JVC Everio JVC Everio MG330 and would like to mount it to the RIS system on my PSG-1 (either on the side, or on the bottom). I'm kind of mechanically stupid so I can't figure out any specific way of mounting it. Anyone out there have any ideas or theories on how I could accomplish this?

Kinda big to mount... best u can do is fabricate a attachment that attaches to the RIS and the bottom of the Camera.

lol my bro did it a pretty bush league way but he got one of those flexible tripods and just bent the mount around his Mp5 Navy...worked quite well actually...made it look like a first person shooter lol, just our solution though, might not be suitable for everyone.

Gun cam is an interesting idea, but keep in mind that you won't necessarily always be pointing your gun at what you want to film... If you can, try and get a helmet mount. IMO, it makes for a better angle / control and is more stable.

Exactly. I already have the camera, I'm not going to drop another $200 for ANOTHER camera. Not worth it. I'll look into one of those mini tripods that can wrap around. Hrmm.. Gorilla Pod I think the name is?

Also true, however last time I did the gun-cam thing, I held the camera in the direction that I wanted to shoot as seen here:
