AUG Shorty
Just finished this tonight. Wanted to make one for CQB, as we now have a facility in Melville.
King Arms shorty adapter and Phantom 5C2 flashhider. Was shooting 400 FPS with a long barrel before the changes, so I might have to tune that down a TEENSY bit for CQB :P The inner barrel comes to about a cm before the start of the flashhider - about M4 length. |

Ahaha. Yes well....it IS an RDS, it's just 2x. So I might just keep it on there for CQB, not sure.

I guess I could have updated this a little while ago, but I was testing out my shorty outdoors and using my new Elcan. The shorty still works good outside because the inner barrel length is about the same as an M4.
I think it looks pretty damn good mounted more rearwards like that. Definitely more usable. |
