TM P226 - Slide Binding

I've got a TM P226 with a Guarder Full Metal Kit installed. This has never happened before today. When the mag is out of BB's and the slide locks back and I press the slide release, the slide moves forward about .25" and then stops. When I try to manually move the slide forward, it is hitting something that is preventing it from cyclying forward. Also, when I manually move the slide forward, whatever it's hitting also makes the trigger move backward.

My best guess it that it is jamming up against a trigger mechanism (not sure the terminology of this part). In the manual, it's part P226-43. This is the only thing that I can see that the slide is hitting when it's jammed up. I can push it the part down manually to cycle the slide. I'm not really sure why this part (if it is) would go bad.

Part # P226-44 is attached to part 43. Can anyone check to see how much wiggle part 44 has on your gun? Mine has some wobble to it. This part moves forward into a notch on the takedown lever (P226-60). Maybe part 44 is too wobbly and missing the notch...??

BTW, the slide doesn't jam up unless the mag runs out of BB's... (so far).

Thanks in advance.
